The following reports were taken from the Boston University Police Department crime logs from March 6 to 19.
A caller reported an intruder in his apartment at 34 Buswell St. at 11:51 p.m. March 17. The caller said there was no sign of forced entry into the apartment, and the intruder left a business card.
THE REALLY SECRET WINDOW
A caller reported hearing what sounded like a window being forced open at 138 Mountfort St. at 3:27 a.m. March 7. A report is due.
TO SHOOT OR NOT TO SHOOT?
THAT IS THE QUESTION
BUPD responded to a suspicious man carrying a long black rifle at the College of Fine Arts at 11:12 a.m. March 7. BUPD found that the rifle was fake and being used for an acting class.
GO PLAY 'MY LITTLE PONY' OR
SOMETHING
BUPD responded to an intoxicated 16-year-old male at Agganis Arena at 8:44 p.m. March 7. An ambulance transported him to Children's Hospital Boston.
GUEST GONE WILD
A caller requested a disruptive patron be removed from the Hotel Commonwealth at 6:45 p.m. March 8. BUPD removed the patron and issued a warning.
PLEASE DON'T STOP THE MUSIC
BUPD responded to a report of loud music and partying at 7 Euston St. at 12:23 a.m. March 9. A caller said the residents started playing the music again after BUPD left the scene.
A.V. MONKEY BUSINESS
BUPD responded to a report of a stolen projector from 5 Cummington St. at 8:25 a.m. March 11.
STICK IT TO THE . . .
MOTOR VEHICLE?
A caller reported a group of four or five people hitting cars with sticks in front of Warren Towers at 3:56 a.m. March 14.
HARD KNOCK LIFE
A caller reported a homeless person who was begging for money almost was hit by a car in front of Myles Standish Hall at 1:35 p.m. March 14.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME
A caller reported an unknown person knocking on his apartment door at 13 Buswell St. at 12:51 a.m. March 16. BUPD found that he was a resident of the apartment in question.
EMAIL EXTORTION
A caller reported she received an email threat instructing her to send money to 648 Beacon St. at 12:47 p.m. March 17.
TRAIN IN VAIN
A caller reported an intoxicated man standing on the MBTA tracks in front of the Fuller Building at 11:53 p.m. March 17. He was transported by ambulance to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR . . .
BUT NOT AT BU
A caller said he was concerned about a pickup truck carrying a coffin in the back of the vehicle in front of Warren Towers at 2:07 p.m. March 19. BUPD found that the driver of the truck was a war protestor.
