The following reports were taken from the Boston University's crime logs from Feb. 12 to Feb. 18.

Double Trouble

A male BU student attempted to enter 277 Babcock St. the night of Feb. 12, but was denied entry because of improper identification. Housing security at 277 Babcock St. called the BUPD as a precaution, but when the police arrived at the scene, the man had left.

A few hours later at 3:36 a.m., BUPD returned to 277 Babcock St. again, this time responding to reports of a fight. Once there, police observed the same male student engaged in a fight with a housing security official. The male was upset that he was denied entry into the building for the second time during the night.

BUPD arrested the student and brought him back to the station for booking, charging him with trespassing, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and using someone else's license.

Bloody Fall

A BU male student fell down a flight of stairs on the early morning of Feb. 16 at 10 Buick St. He wound up in the lobby of the building with severe lacerations to his forehead.

Housing called BUPD, when arrived on the scene and dispatched an ambulance. The male was taken into protective custody and transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton to treat his various injuries.

Tired Coward

BUPD responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Marlboro Street and Charlesgate East in the early morning of Feb. 17.

Witnesses said there were two people involved in the accident, one of who fled the scene. BUPD and State Police Troopers searched the surrounding neighborhoods for the runaway.

A short while after, a state trooper found the runaway sleeping behind 409 Commonwealth Ave. He woke the escapee up and arrested him.

Loud Ruckus

Boston Police responded to a 911 call at 906 Beacon St. on the morning of Feb. 17. When officers arrived on the scene, they reported four individuals involved in a loud argument. There were accusations that they had used the fire extinguishers on the first and the second floors for non-fire related incidents.

The Sky is Falling

Buildings and Grounds Service reported debris falling from 660 Beacon St., the Barnes & Nobles at Boston University bookstore, during the gusty evening of Jan. 17. An officer was called to the scene to cordon off the area with police tape until the debris was cleaned up and the items on the roof were then secured.
